Q4 2023 Performance Review: Top 5 Theme Parks Apps in France on Android

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the theme park mobile app landscape in France saw varied user engagement across different platforms. The data provided by Sensor Tower offers a closer look at the downloads and weekly active users for the top five theme park apps on the Android platform.

Disneyland® Paris experienced a noteworthy surge in downloads, jumping from 9K in the last week of September to over 18K by the end of December. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trend, starting at around 19K and peaking at over 30K in the same period.

Futuroscope displayed a remarkable spike in both downloads and active users towards the end of the quarter. Downloads shot up from 2K to over 11K, while weekly active users rose from 3K to over 12K by the final week of December.

For Europa-Park & Rulantica, the downloads saw a significant increase from 2K to over 4K, accompanied by a growth in active users from around 3K to over 5K in the festive week of December.

PortAventura World had a more modest quarter. The app's downloads started at 617 and concluded the quarter with over 1K downloads. The number of weekly active users also saw a gradual increase from approximately 3.8K to over 4.4K by year-end.

Lastly, Disneyland® maintained a steady performance throughout the quarter. The app's downloads hovered around 400 to 600, with a slight increase to 622 by the final week. Weekly active users showed a stable trend, maintaining around 3K throughout the quarter.
